If there are any crew members of Thunder Bay boats who need a lift to Woodbine Hbr

it may be possible to arrange a ride from Nipigon/Red Rock.

 Addenda:

Sept 25th,

1) EVERYTHING is predicated on there being a serviceable pump-out in Rossport.

2) A great idea for T Bay boats to join us at CPR Slips.

3) Forgot that it was a long weekend at the end of the Regatta, which gives an extra travelling day for T Bay boats.

4) See attached map.  Further to our get together I can’t find an elegant solution to the inclusion of a second stop in Rossport. The best idea I can see is for those who need to go into Rossport to anchor Monday at Battle Island.   Battle I. anchorage to the Rossport dock 5.1nm.   Monday is a short day (20.1nm) this should leave enough time to go get a pump out and if not back that night they could rejoin us the following morning and still make the start of the race.

5) Have a vague recollection of an outhouse at the Slates, which could help on the holding tank capacity problem.

6) Groceries: Thunder Bay boats will have to bear in mind that we get back to Red Rock on Saturday afternoon, and getting supplies on the long weekend MAY present a problem. Meaning that the Rossport stop-over (on Thursday) may be a mandatory grocery run into Schrieber for some.

7) I’m sure we can help find ferry crew for people who work on Friday 23rd and don’t want the rush of getting from T Bay to R Rock in time. Two days to get home is quite doable.

8) Liz & Robin have offered the use of their sauna at Pays Plat – about a 5 min dinghy ride from the Powder I. anchorage.

9) Wiebens to Schrieber 25Km, Rossport to Schreiber 18Km.

Oct 5th.

1) Rossport DOES have pump-out, Diesel & Gas. We should check back in the spring that they will be functioning when we need them.

2) We can ensure that there is transportation at Pays Plat for those who may still need to do a supply run, by positioning our van there.

3) There is a “public use” cabin that used to be an MNR cabin down in one of the channels near McGreevy Harbour. And it does have an outhouse; the dock is only dinghy size.
